<p>Beginning July 6, 2009 Buyer Acquire will launch its newly enhanced text messaging service.  With a simple press of a button, potential buyers<br />
can receive a text message of your listing details—including a property tour URL if available—and listen to recorded property information, all<br />
by accessing the same phone number.</p>
<p><strong>Best of both technologies—VOICE and TEXT!</strong></p>
<p>Now when a potential buyer calls the Buyer Acquire phone number and enters your listing house number or ad code he will be prompted to press 3 to receive<br />
a text message containing the property information.  The caller may also choose to <strong><em>listen</em></strong> to the details after requesting the text<br />
message during the same phone call.  No matter how the caller chooses to receive the information, you will still be notified of the inquiry.</p>
<p><strong>New sign rider layout</strong></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Buyer Acquire is excited to announce its newly updated FSBO program in partnership with HomeOnThePhone.com.  This program will launch on March 5, 2009.</p>
<p>This new program will help you to strengthen your relationships with FSBOs by providing them with a valuable service that helps sell their home while providing you with new buyers.  It will also help you list new properties as FSBOs decide to hire a real estate professional.</p>
<p><strong>How does it work?</strong></p>
<p>Up until now, FSBO listings on Buyer Acquire were somewhat limited.  You could add an owner phone number and email address for call notification, but<br />
that was all.  With HomeOnThePhone.com, the FSBO receives his own full account, with one listing, one Notify &amp; Connect profile, call traffic reports,<br />
listing agent screening, and a listing web site with property photos.</p>
<p>When you add the Buyer Acquire FSBO program to your account you will receive a <em>unique promotional code</em> that you can give to a FSBO to use when<br />
signing up for the <em>HomeOnThePhone.com Premier Package</em>.  The new HomeOnThePhone.com account will then be attached to your Buyer Acquire account.  You can see a list of your sponsored HomeOnThePhone.com listings and view call reports from your Buyer Acquire account.</p>
<p><strong>How does HomeOnThePhone.com account differ from a Buyer Acquire account?</strong></p>
<p>A HomeOnThePhone.com account is allowed only one listing, and there are no voice messages or advertising tracking using Media Types.  HomeOnThePhone.com is<br />
designed to be a simple, easy-to-use FSBO tool, with no unnecessary extras.</p>
<p><strong>Wait, &#8220;listing agent screening&#8221;?  What are you trying to pull here?</strong></p>
<p>FSBOs often feel overwhelmed by what feels like a veritable torrent of inquiries from listing agents, often leaving bitter feelings toward all agents.  When you sponsor a FSBO using the Buyer Acquire FSBO Program, other agents are prohibited from contacting the FSBO via the HomeOnThePhone.com service.  A FSBO can report agents violating the terms, and those agents found will have their phone number banned from calling the HomeOnThePhone.com number at all.  It protects the FSBO from unwanted agent contact and helps solidify <em>your</em> relationship with the FSBO.</p>
<p><strong>Why do HomeOnThePhone.com listings get a web site, but Buyer Acquire listings are left out?</strong></p>
<p>We thought you might wonder about that.  Look for an exciting announcement soon.</p>
<p><strong>What else is different?</strong></p>
<p>Unlike standard Buyer Acquire listings, all HomeOnThePhone.com FSBO listings can be accessed by the same phone number.  This emphasizes the simplicity of<br />
HomeOnThePhone.com.  You can buy signs that are completely reusable, without having to worry about matching a phone number with a particular area.</p>
<p>As an added nicety, in addition to our standard HomeOnThePhone.com FSBO signs, we have deluxe signs with extra-sturdy metal frames available for purchase.</p>
<p><strong>Is there an additional cost?</strong></p>
<p>The new FSBO program is available for the low price of $10 per active FSBO listing, per month.  All of your other Buyer Acquire listings, including listings from your MLS, are still included in your flat monthly fee.  If your Buyer Acquire service is being provided by your brokerage or a partnering lender, the new FSBO Program may also be included.  Please contact your brokerage or partnering lender for more information.</p>
<p><strong>What about FSBO listings that I have already created on my Buyer Acquire account?</strong></p>
<p>The listings on your Buyer Acquire account that you have marked as FSBO listings will continue to be managed by you, and will not be automatically added to the new FSBO program.  If you want to migrate your FSBO listings to HomeOnThePhone.com, please contact Customer Support.</p>
<p><strong>Can I see an example of a HomeOnThePhone.com web site?</strong></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Buyer Acquire is happy to announce that we will soon be launching an updated Listing Management page.</p>
<p>We have reorganized the look of the page to make it easier to quickly see the basic information about your listings.  There are a few items that we&#8217;d like<br />
to emphasize:</p>
<ul>
<li>The Status Legend has been removed from the top of the page.  There is now a help link next to the heading on the Status column that will display the<br />
different available status.</li>
<li>Similarly, a help link has also been added next to the heading on the Actions column to give a legend for the different actions you can perform on your<br />
listings, such as editing the information or marking the listings sold.</li>
<li>A new status icon has been added to indicate if you have made an addendum or replacement recording for a listing.</li>
<li>Most importantly, we have taken your feedback and made the Ad Code display much easier to understand and use.</li>
</ul>
<p>We&#8217;d like to talk just a little bit about the new Ad Code display, to ease the transition.  To avoid any confusion, we would first like to say that<br />
<strong>the way Ad Codes function has not changed.  All of your existing Ad Codes will continue to work.</strong> The major change here comes in how<br />
the Ad Code is presented.  The difference is shown below:</p>

<p>There are three changes:</p>
<ul>
<li>The change from the confusing icon to the &#8220;Not Assigned&#8221; link, to assign a new Ad Code</li>
<li>The shift from &#8220;Media + XXXX&#8221; to &#8220;0XXXX&#8221;</li>
<li>The &#8220;View All&#8221; link</li>
</ul>
<p>The biggest change is the second one.  One of Buyer Acquire&#8217;s great features is the ability to track your advertising using the combination of a Media Type<br />
and an Ad Code.  However, we have heard from many of our users that displaying &#8220;Media + XXXX&#8221; was confusing.  Now the Ad Code displayed on the<br />
Listing Management page includes the Media Type 0 on the beginning of the Ad Code, with the addition of the &#8220;View All&#8221; link to provide more<br />
detailed information.</p>
<p>The Media Type 0 is a special Media Type reserved for sign riders.  If you want to use a different Media Type, just replace the 0 with a different<br />
Media Type.  Clicking the &#8220;View All&#8221; link will display a small pop-up with your currently configured Media Types and how they apply to the selected<br />
listing, as shown below:</p>

<p>We hope that you will find this update to Listing Management helpful in using Buyer Acquire.  We will be continually updating and improving the Listing<br />
Management page and other areas of the web site.  One new feature you can look forward to is the ability to listen to your listing information online.<br />
You will be able to hear the listing information just as someone calling the Buyer Acquire hotline would, including any addendum or replacement recordings<br />
you have made.</p>

<li>Enter your Buyer Acquire User ID and PIN</li>

<p>These instructions are also on the Buyer Acquire web site (any updates to the instructions will also be made there).  Log in at<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On Wednesday, July 25 we will be adding a few new features to the Buyer Acquire site.  The first is a new listing management page.</p>
<p>The new page has been streamlined and refined to give you more visual information about your listings and to make it easier for you to manage them.  We have also taken your feedback and separated the Add a Listing page into two different pages&#8211;one page to add a regular listing to the Buyer Acquire system, and one to add a listing that you will make your own recording for.  More detailed instructions have also been added to help make the site even easier to use.</p>
<p>However, we are more excited about the other new feature we have been working on behind the scenes: new training videos.  The Tips &amp; Tools page will be updated to include video presentations about using the Buyer Acquire site and system to help you get the most out of your service.  You may even learn some things that you didn&#8217;t know Buyer Acquire could do!  There will be two videos to start with, and more will be added on a regular basis.  The first time you log in after Wednesday morning you will be directed to a page with the new videos.  We hope that they will help you use Buyer Acquire even more to your advantage and help you become even more successful.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We have recently updated some features of Buyer Acquire to help make your experience even more easy and friendly.</p>
<p>If you work with another listing agent, you may have both Notify &amp; Connect profiles enabled in your Buyer Acquire account.  Previously, email and text message notifications were sent to the addresses in each profile according to the Listing Agent Connection Hours and the Text Message Hours, with the primary profile taking precedence if the hours happened to overlap.</p>
<p>To make things easier, now the email and text message notifications with go to each profile that is enabled, regardless of overlapping hours.  Here are a few examples:</p>
<ul>
<li>If both profiles are set to receive text messages from 8am to 5pm, any text message will go to both profiles during those hours.</li>
<li>If one profile is set to receive text messages from 8am to 5pm and the other is set from 1pm to 6pm, the first will get any text messages set from 8am to 1pm, both will receive those sent from 1pm to 5pm, and the second will receive text messages sent from 5pm to 6pm.</li>
<li>The same principle applies to email notifications, with the Listing Agent Connection hours governing the times email notifications are sent.</li>
</ul>
<p>When making a direct connection to the listing agent, the primary profile&#8217;s hours always take precedence over the secondary profile&#8217;s hours.  For example, if both profiles have connection hours set from 8am to 4pm, any connection made to the listing agent will always go the the primary profile during those hours.</p>
<p>Finally, email and text message notifications will now come from <strong>leads@buyeracquire.com</strong>.</p>
<p>The online help at the <a href="http://www.buyeracquire.com">Buyer Acquire Web Site</a> has been updated with additional information about Notify &amp; Connect hours and how to use them.  Be sure and check it for the latest information.
