Frequently Asked Questions - Agents

Call Capture

What is call capture?

Call capture gives you the caller's phone number, attaching it to a specific listing and/or advertisement.

Why should I use call capture?

By providing you with the caller's phone number and the listing they are interested in, call capture gives you the means for a targeted follow-up, enabling you to turn your leads into returning clients. It gives you the advantage over other agents who may be going for the same listing.

Will Buyer Acquire always capture the caller's phone number?

Buyer Acquire will capture the caller's phone number the majority of the time, though there are rare cases when the phone number may be unavailable.

What information do I receive when someone calls?

Text messages include the caller's phone number, the call time and date, and the listing number and address. Email messages contain additional information about the listing. The call reports on the web site will also show whether the caller tried to connect to the listing agent or lender, or if he or she left a voice message. If you are working with a sponsoring lender, he or she will receive the same information, as well as your name and contact information.

How do I receive the caller's information?

You will receive a text message and an email message for each call on one of your listings. Real-time call traffic reports are also available on the Buyer Acquire web site.

Do you provide information via fax?

No. After thorough research we have concluded that a condensed text message and email message are quicker, easier, and more efficient.

MLS Integration

What is MLS Integration?

This simply means that when you enter a listing in to your local MLS, the information is relayed to Buyer Acquire. Buyer Acquire then turns that information in to a real human voice and speaks it to callers in both English and Spanish.

What is the benefit of MLS integration?

Other systems make you record listing information. It takes a lot of time to get the recording so it sounds just right, and if something changes about the listing--say, the price--you need to undertake the laborious recording process again! We think you would be better off spending those hours selling property and making money. When you change the information in the MLS, the Buyer Acquire system is automatically updated.

Do I have to use MLS integration?

Not at all. Buyer Acquire has an easy-to-use online listing management tool that is completely independent! Take a few short minutes to enter the property information on the Buyer Acquire web site and Buyer Acquire converts it to true human voice--just like with MLS integration.

Will I automatically have MLS integration after signing up for Buyer Acquire?

Buyer Acquire has integrated with many, but not all, Multiple Listing Services across the United States. If Buyer Acquire does not already integrate with your MLS, we'll contact the MLS and your broker to get the ball rolling.

What if MLS integration is not available in my area?

It takes just a few minutes on our web site to enter your own listing with our listing management tool. Online training will walk you through the process.

How long will my listings be available on the Buyer Acquire system?

When using MLS integration listing information will usually be available until the property is under contract or sold. This may vary based on the MLS. If you manually enter the property information with the online listing management tool then it will remain on the Buyer Acquire system until you mark it sold or remove it.

Phone Numbers

What types of phone numbers are available?

Buyer Acquire offers local and toll-free phone numbers.

What are the benefits of each type of phone number?

A local phone number gives callers the perception of a local community listing agent. However, when using print advertising, out-of-state callers are more likely to call a toll-free number. Buyer Acquire's technology will capture the callers' phone numbers on both types of phone number.

How do I get a local phone number?

Buyer Acquire has local numbers in many areas of the country. If we do not have a number in your area it can be ordered, or you may choose to use a toll-free number (such as an 888, 877, or 866 number). Either way, We do not charge you for minutes. Other call capture services charge high rates for toll-free minutes--sometimes as high as 25 cents or more per minute! Buyer Acquire is an unlimited service for one flat rate.

Recording Extra Information

Can I record property information in my own voice?

Absolutely. We know that sometimes you will need to record information. The Buyer Acquire system allows two ways for you to record information: you can supplement our automated recording with your own additional information, or you may replace our automated recording entirely with a recording of your own.

Can I use Buyer Acquire for land, condos, and other special properties?

We thought of that too! The Buyer Acquire system can generate a property code without requiring you to enter any information about a home. After you get your property code you can record a description of the land... and guess what? It works for Condos and other special properties too!

Advertising

Can I just run advertisements with a message and no property?

You certainly can! Just as with recordings for land, condos, or other special properties, you can generate a property code without entering information about a home, and record a message to go with the property code.

Can I track my advertising?

Yes. We offer a simple method to track all advertising--signs riders, newspapers, magazines, flyers, mailers, or any other type of advertising.

Why would I want to track my advertising?

As you know, advertising costs money. Tracking how many calls come from which advertisement will help you to determine which advertisements are really paying off. We want to help you spend your hard-earned money wisely.

Partnering With Your Lender

Can my lender get the leads?

That's a great key to success. Have your Lender contact us today for full sponsorship and lead generation information.

Can my lender sponsor me?

Absolutely. Buyer Acquire is a great way to build relationships between listing agents and lenders. Lenders can share in your leads and even be a great backup support mechanism for you, such as being able to return calls from your leads if you are unavaiable--or swamped from all the leads Buyer Acquiregenerates for you!
